“A Charging Bull szobor a Bowling Green park északi részénél áll és a szembejövő forgalmat támadja. Alkotója Arturo Di Modica olasz-amerikai szobrász, az 1987. október 19-i tőzsdei fekete hétfő után készítette, saját pénzéből (360 000 USD).
1989. december 15-én mindenféle engedély nélkül, karácsonyi ajándékként kitette a bikát a tőzsde bejárata elé (akkor még szabad volt odamenni teherautóval). Másnap szórólapokon tudatta, hogy a bikát a fekete hétfő után készítette, és hogy a “strength, power and hope of the American people for the future” szimbóluma.
A szobor továbbra is Di Modica tulajdona, a városnak csak kölcsönadta.”
A történet innen indult, majd egy Nemzetközi Nőnap reggelén, a munkába igyekvő New York-iak meglepve tapasztalták, hogy egy apró lányka szembeszállt a Wall Street Támadó Bikájával.“A bronzszobrot az éj leple alatt – a Nőnapra időzítve – helyezte el a McCann New York reklámiroda és a State Street Global Advisors befektetési tanácsadó cég a Bowling Green Parkban. Néhány órán belül a turisták is felfedezték az új szobrot és délutánra már hatalmas tömeg fényképezkedett a Fearless Girl elnevezésű alkotással. ”

“The Charging Bull statue stands in the northern part of Bowling Green Park and attacks oncoming traffic. It was created by Italian-American sculptor Arturo Di Modica after the black Monday on October 19, 1987, out of his own money ($ 360,000).
On December 15, 1989, without any permission, he displayed the bull in front of the stock exchange entrance as a Christmas present (he was still allowed to go there by truck at the time). The next day, he announced in flyers that he had made the bull after Black Monday and that it was a symbol of “strength, power and hope of the American people for the future.” (A bull or bull market means rising stock prices in the technical language of the stock market (as opposed to a bear market)).
Police seized and transported him that afternoon, but because people liked the statue and reclaimed it. It was temporarily transported a few blocks away, but has been there ever since. The statue is still owned by Di Modica, he just lent it to the city. ”
This little fairy-tale guideline inspires us to create the visual world of our own Cabernet Sauvignon. The masculine, all-encompassing, robust bull characterizes Sauvignon’s great character traits, both in terms of taste and aroma. The fearless little girl, on the other hand, personifies the soft and clean notes. The meeting of these two worlds determines the complexity of wine, in which balance is very important. It is characterized by a first-round effect rich in flavors, black fruit and eucalyptus. Alternatively, fig, dark chocolate, or cherry flavors may appear. It is rich in tannins, but will be strengthened in the coming years. It is worth tasting, but the several years of bottle maturation still strengthens it with classics.
Borba – :
Félelem nélkül tudom ajánlani, ez csúcs volt. A borkóstolón kétszer is visszakóstoltam. Nem az a “bikaerős” sauvignon. Lágyabb test és nagyon gyümölcsös. Természetesen vittem a gyűjteményembe is. 🙂
Norden Wine – :
Deep fruitiness and intense spiciness, taut minerality. Mushroom, chocolate, light ground and rosemary on the nose with eastern spices. Great wine.
